Visits are held in our outpatient medical office in Cherokee Professional Park.
They are intended to diagnose, treat, and manage the specific medical needs of patients who suffer from dementia in all of its many forms.-Patients of our specialty clinic should be accompanied by the family member or advocate who is most familiar with their situation.
Often, our patients are referred to us by their current Primary Care Physician for consultation and collaboration with one of our Board Certified Geriatricians regarding the patient’s specific diagnosis - or in search of further testing/diagnosis related to their cognitive impairment.
A key distinction between the SCP specialty clinic, and an appointment with a primary care physician, is that as a board certified Geriatrician, our providers are uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat the many forms of dementia, and provide treatment options, comprehensive plans of care, and emotional support to both patients and their family. The purpose of this clinic is not to attend to routine, general medical needs or acute medical issues, but to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to cognitive impairment and dementia.
Senior Care Partners aims to serve the seniors in our community as well as their families to aid in the promotion of their overall health and wellbeing.
